ReadIt Terms of Use

These Terms of Use define the rules for accessing and using ReadIt, the rights and obligations of users, and the authority of the Site Administration to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

1. General provisions

By using ReadIt, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to comply with them.

  • The service is intended for book discussions, reading communities, and thematic clubs.
  • The user is responsible for the accuracy of information provided during registration.
  • The Site Administration may update platform functionality and these Terms when necessary.

2. Rules of conduct

Allowed behavior

  • Constructive discussion of books, authors, and reading experiences.
  • Respect for other users, even when opinions differ.
  • Publishing materials for which you have rights or legal grounds for use.

Prohibited behavior

  • Insults, hate speech, discrimination, threats, or harassment.
  • Spam, manipulative promotions, fraud, or deliberate misinformation.
  • Distribution of malicious code or attempts to gain unauthorized access to systems.

3. Moderation and enforcement

The Site Administration has the right to review posts and user activity for compliance with these Terms. In case of violations, measures may include warnings, feature limitations on an account, removal of specific content, or suspension of access to the service.

4. Intellectual property

The platform design, structure, software code, and other elements of ReadIt belong to the Site Administration or are used on legal grounds. Users retain rights to their own content, but grant the Site Administration a non-exclusive license to display that content within service operations.

5. Liability

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. The Site Administration makes reasonable efforts to keep the platform secure and continuously available, but does not guarantee the complete absence of technical disruptions. Users are personally responsible for their actions on the platform and for compliance with applicable law.
